Middle & Senior Syndicate Cross Country, Rabbit Island
The 2021 Middle and Senior Syndicate school cross country will now be held on Thursday 3rd June at Rabbit Island (postponement day Friday 4th June). The children will be travelling by bus to Rabbit Island. Please come along and support the children and park in the appropriate places.
The races will hopefully begin in the Totara Picnic area between 9.45am and 10am starting with the 8 year old girls followed by 8 year old boys and at approx 10 minute intervals going up the age groups. The 11 year olds will run with the 10 year olds as there are only a few of them.
Sausages will be available for participants (provided by the PTC) after the event followed by a play on the beach. Please provide any extra lunch for your child plus water and morning tea. Don’t forget warm layers in case it is chilly.
The Juniors will join the older children for the beach play, leaving after lunch at school by bus at 11.30am. Please provide a change of clothes and footwear.
Junior Beach Trip – Rabbit Island
The Juniors will leave school after lunch at 11.30pm and travel to Rabbit Island by bus to join the Middle and Senior Syndicate who will have had their cross country races there in the morning. All will have a play on the beach before returning to school by 3pm. Postponement date Friday 4th June.
Rooms 5 and 6 Trip to Art Gallery & Museum
Room 6 leaving school at 9am, museum visit at 9.45am.
Room 5 leaving at 9am, visiting the Centre of New Zealand then the museum at 11.10am
Kiwiana Dress Up Day
Come to school dressed in a Kiwiana themed costume as part of our Rich Topic this term – Aotearoa New Zealand
