Mid Year Interviews Room 3 – Wed 13th and Thurs 14th June

Mrs Brenton, Room 3, is having her Mid Year Interviews earlier than other classes as she is heading away for the last 3 weeks of Term 2.

To book:

1) Go to www.schoolinterviews.co.nz
2) Type in our school code eg8dw Click Go.
3) Enter your details and the number of students. Type in students full name.
4) Choose the teacher you wish to see from the drop down menu.
5) Select the time, only available times are shown.
6) Your timetable is shown. If correct select print or finish. It will be emailed to you.

Booking close 3pm Monday 11th June.

These interviews are for 15 mins. We ask children not to attend these interviews.

Notices for interview bookings for the rest of the school (Wed 20th and Thurs 21st June) will be sent home in Week 6.

Interschool Cross Country – Wednesday 6th June, Green Meadows

A note has been sent home with those children who have qualified for this event. Please return the permission slips to the office/ Mrs Brenton asap.

Runners will have an early lunch at school and depart at 12pm (parent help required for transport please). Marshal meeting at the venue 12.30pm and the races begin at 12.45pm starting with the 8 years and under boys going up the ages and finishing with the 11 years and under girls.

Runners will need a school t-shirt (supplied if you don’t have one), suitable footwear, black or blue shorts or track pants, warm clothing, snack food, drink and medication if necessary.

It is suggested that parents take their child for a practice run at Green Meadows prior to the event (map supplied with your note).

Rippa Tournament – Well done to both of our teams!

The Richmond School Social Grade Team
Two Richmond School rippa teams competed in an tournament at Henley School on Tuesday 22nd May along with other local schools. Our competitive grade team came 3rd overall and continue through to the next round. Our social team won all their 5 games and came top of their grade. Congratulations to all players and big thanks to the staff coaches and parent support on the day!

Rabbit Island School Cross-Country – Thursday 24th May

Our annual cross-country event for the whole school. Family and friends are welcome to come along to cheer the children along.

The children will travel by bus (Seniors/Middle syndicates leaving school at 9:15am, Junior syndicate leaving school at 10:15am) and spend the day at Rabbit Island. A sausage in bread will be provided by the PTC for each child but please bring morning tea, extra lunch and a drink bottle! Appropriate footwear and clothing essential. Warm clothes in a plastic bag and a rain jacket are recommended. Some spare clothes are a good idea too as there will be free play on the beach after lunch.

Senior and Middle Syndicate races in the Totara Picnic Area starting from 9:45am.

Junior races in the Manuka Picnic Area starting from 10:50am.
