If you haven’t yet been to Mama Mia, try and get to the Theatre Royal in Nelson to see our talented Glenna Armstrong (pictured centre) in the lead role! Running until 23rd September.
Congratulations to all the children who chose to be involved on Tuesday night. Around 100 of our children (Year 3 – 6) were involved. It was hours of hard work over many months learning the words and practising. The children would have been super tired afterwards but what a wonderful opportunity to be involved in a high class musical performance. Richmond School pupils excelled as a group and some were also involved in a dance routine and ballet (Bryah Thompson). The main soloist of the show was Mia Coldicott who was simply outstanding. She sang Adele’s song ‘Someone Like You’. A stunning rendition. Special thanks to the teachers (Glenna Armstrong, Marie James and Jaime Kingi) who spent hours organising practices and tutoring the children.
Congratulations to our two rugby sevens teams competing yesterday at the tournament at Henley School. Team 1 came 3rd in the competitive grade and are off to the regional finals. Team 2 won the social grade! Well done everyone!

Recently our new concrete table tennis table was installed over by Room 8. This was purchased by the Parent Teacher Comittee. The children use padder tennis bats and tennis balls to play the game. It has been a real hit! Another great initiative by the PTC. Thank you!
